At Safe Spaces, our mission is simple yet profound: to create a sanctuary where members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies feel supported, safe, and seen. For years, finding inclusive spaces that also offer vital resources has been a challenge for our community. That’s why Safe Spaces was born—to be more than just a refuge, but a lifeline for empowerment, resilience, and connection.
We know the toll that stigma, isolation, and lack of resources can take on mental health, especially for LGBTQIA+ youth. Safe Spaces exists to change that. Through our programs, we offer:
- Counseling and mental health services for individuals navigating unique challenges.
- Youth support initiatives designed to empower the next generation.
- The Gender Affirming Closet, providing clothing and accessories to help individuals express their true selves.
- General wellness resources, from workshops to peer support networks.
Our vision is to foster a space where mental wellness is prioritized, confidence is nurtured, and every individual can find belonging. Now, we’re inviting you to join us as we take this mission to the next level.

We’re thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of Safe Spaces Youth, a two-day event happening on December 15 & 22, 2024! This celebration marks the beginning of a new chapter in our journey to build a stronger, more inclusive community.
