Our program relies on trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices in assisting our students who are exposed to high rates of traumatic events leading to dangerous stress and anxiety levels.
NIA provides safe spaces for our most vulnerable youth via community-building circles, counseling support, access to resources, mentorship, and access to clinical support for mental health services as needed.

Youth-Driven Peer-Led Community Building
Our group sessions are led by youth for youth, providing a platform for peer support, collaboration, and community bonding.
Counseling Support
We offer personalized counseling sessions that are affirming and tailored to the unique needs of LGBTQ+ individuals, addressing mental health concerns and promoting emotional resilience.
Access to Resources
Through partnerships and our network, we provide access to essential resources such as housing support, transportation assistance, and educational guidance
Clinical Support for Mental Health Services
We ensure access to clinical support when needed, offering comprehensive mental health services that prioritize the well-being and development of our clients.

Community Engagement
